Koijee Wants Proof For “Killing” In District #13

Monrovia City Mayor, Jefferson Tamba Koijee is calling on the Ministry of Justice to invite all those making claims of death during the recent electoral violence that occurred in Electoral District #13 in Monrovia. He said the claim of one person losing his or her life is not politics and there is a need for the Ministry of Justice to investigate everyone including himself [Koijee].

He told a major press conference today, November 27, 2018 at the Monrovia City Hall that he condemn the situation because it is not the kind of Liberia that the George Weah promised and it left bad feelings in the minds of residents of District #13.

Mayor Koijee intimated that he is taken aback by claims that he took group of young men carrying cutlasses and gun during a political rally in which one person reportedly died and several other got wounded.

According to him, these are grave issues that need the attention of the government security institutions because they border on the security of the state adding “without security, all the President’s plan will not work.
