Over L$500k Sponsorship Package For Barnersville Area League

The Barnersville Area League, since its inception in 1986, has been a very attractive and unifying event which followers of Liberian sports believe is next to the  annual National  County Meet as its entertainment, classic and unifying spirit have made it an annual event that has lifted many in the Barnersville township and surrounding areas.
While there has been complete ecstasy and competitiveness in mostly the football and kickball categories, there has been a burning desire for a more attractive package for the league that will further ignite the competition.
In this year’s edition which is slated for August, the worry for a somewhat colossal sponsorship package seems to be over as the Prince Walker Group of Companies has put forth a very huge  sponsorship package which can be described as the biggest ever in the history of the league.

A staggering amount of more than Five Hundred Thousand Liberian Dollars (500,000) will be splashed out for the sponsorship of the 2021 edition of the Barnersville Area league.  The company has reportedly began engaging stakeholders in Barnersville for the sponsorship of the league as there is a lot in store.

The sponsorship package will include the following: Free entry, no registration fees, two sets of jersey for each area ( football and kickball teams) and Footballs for teams as well.
Others include LD100,000 for champions, LD 50,000.00 for runners-up and LD30,000.00 for third place  in football, while the Kickball champions will walke away with LD60,000.00, runners-up LD30,000.00 and  third place LD20,000.00.
There will also be awards for  the Best Player in each category and  there will be other awards for the Best Goalkeeper, Best Defender, Best Midfielder, Top Goal Scorer in the football version as well as Best Journalist.
The Prince Walker Group of Companies under the leadership,of the Chief Executive Officer( CEO) Prince Opoku Walker, a former footballer now a humanitarian, was recently in Liberia after 13 years in the United States and has seen the need for his company to serve as proud sponsors of the league this year.
