Liberia’s Vice President, Chief Dr. Jewel Howard-Taylor, on Thursday, November 15, 2018, received in audience the Vice President of the neighboring Republic of Sierra Leone, Mohamed Juldeh Jalloh, who was transiting at the Roberts International Airport in Liberia on his way to the United States.
According to a release from the Office of the Vice President, VP Howard-Taylor held brief discussions with her Sierra Leonean counterpart who was on his way the United States to attend a crucial meeting on behalf of his President Julius Maada Bio.
Meeting at the VIP Lounge of the RIA, the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and international matters with the view to strengthen relations and forge common purpose in pursuing matters of interest to their respective governments, the Mano River Union, ECOWAS, AU, and the United Nations, as envisaged by their respective Presidents.
The discussions took place in an atmosphere of mutual respect and covered matters of peace, security, good governance, and economic development.
